Model KZXD banana screen, because it looks like a banana, the industry is also called banana screen.
This screen is primarily designed for mineral processing applications including ores, slag, coal, and other minerals with similar specific gravity. The banana screen features a zigzag-shaped surface with multiple inclined sections. By increasing the material flow rate at the feeding end, it effectively reduces layer height and accelerates particle penetration, maximizing the screening capacity of the surface. With stable material-to-flow-rate ratios across all sections, the material layer maintains balanced or gradually increasing heights. This design is widely used in coal and similar mineral processing, dry/dry-type depth screening, as well as coal dehydration, desintercalation, and mud removal operations.
The banana screening system utilizes the equal-thickness screening principle with multi-angle screens, offering higher processing capacity and superior screening efficiency compared to traditional vibrating screens. The system employs a variable-position helical gearbox vibrator that ensures excellent synchronization and low noise levels.
